A LETTERED WOMAN

                      

A lettered woman is barely tolerated,

Gets blamed to be a psycho and humiliated.


She is an outlander, arrogant and proud,

The quality possessed by her are never counted.


Not a good cook nor a better housekeeper,

Her shortcomings are always overrated.


The bitch, the slut who is over ambitious,

Are the common titles with which she is decorated.


What mark she is leaving in her professional life,

This aspect is hardly ever being noted.


Be it teaching, managing, treating

She may be doing efforts worth being quoted.


Those who curse are never at fault,

These are the values which they are deeply infested.

And he went away He came and gave me a little bit of smile, And he went away. Neither could recollect my wonderful memories, Nor could find my way, And he went away.
